About independence
independence is a member-led campaign made up of committed SNP members working to keep Scottish independence at the forefront of SNP policy, strategy and resources.
We formed to be a positive and constructive influence within the SNP, encouraging debate, challenging where necessary and pushing for a serious, sustained campaign capable of building majority support for independence.
We believe winning elections is not enough on its own. The case for independence has to be made consistently, backed by clear strategy, proper resources and meaningful involvement from party members.
Our purpose is simple: to keep independence at the heart of everything the SNP does.
